In just three months, Chris Goddard’s stock 2009 Harley-Davidson Electraglide Ultra Classic was transformed into a full Roaring Toyz custom V-Twin. Chris was already familiar with the work by Robert Fisher and the Roaring Toyz team, both for sportbikes and baggers, and he knew he wanted the same precision and style when it came to having a custom Electraglide.
Two things immediately stand out at a quick glance: the flat black paint with gloss black detailing and pin stripes by Chad Chambers, and the stunning 26-inch Performance Machine Icon Platinum front wheel. That big wheel stops with a matching Icon Platinum 13” front brake rotor and Performance Machine six-piston black anodized brake caliper. Over it all, a 26-inch Steel Wrap Fender curves over the assembly. We now sell the 26″ front end in complete package kits!
The front wheel is attached with Arlen Ness Hot Leg lower fork legs combined with Performance Machine fork covers. The frame was cut and raked and raked triple clamps were added for correct steering and geometry, above it all sits a custom raked upper fairing. In the back, the suspension goes up and down by Rear Air Ride.
Even the engine got some custom touches, including black powder coated rocker boxes, powder coated engine covers, a Performance Machine air cleaner and RC Components True Duals exhaust for a sleek, old-school look.
Roaring Toyz parts on the Electraglide include a custom seat, billet pin stripe clutch and brake levers, and a billet pin stripe ignition switch cover. The pin stripe touches are carried out with the Roaring Toyz billet front and rear floorboards, too.
No bagger is complete without saddlebags, and the ones on this Harley Electraglide are Arlen Ness Down N Out Stretched bags. The saddlebag latches are powder coated black, and the lids hold 6×9 speakers. The rest of the sound system includes Rockford Fosgate front speakers and amp.
Kory Souza handled assembly of the bike, and he didn’t leave out a single detail. Other custom parts include:
